🧾 DISTANCE CONTRACT AND ONLINE STORE

The seller of goods offered in the online store www.latvijasekspedicija.lv is

hereinafter referred to as the Seller,

and the individual placing an order, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer,

jointly enter into this Distance Contract.

The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver goods (games, routes, gift cards, etc.) to the Buyer in accordance with the Buyer’s order and the terms set forth herein.

2.1. The Buyer places an order through the online store, indicating the type, quantity, and delivery details of the goods to be purchased.
2.2. Payment can be made using the payment options available in the online store or by bank transfer based on an invoice issued by the Seller.
2.3. The invoice is issued electronically and is valid without a signature.
2.4. Goods are delivered via postal service, parcel machine, or personally by prior arrangement.
2.5. The usual delivery time is 4 business days, unless the selected parcel machine is temporarily overloaded.

3.1. Latvijas Ekspedīcija games are printed photo-orienteering games designed for use in urban environments.
3.2. Game routes are delivered in printed form only, while gift cards are delivered digitally.
3.3. Games are not personalized, but custom orders may be arranged by contacting [email protected].
3.4. After purchase, the Buyer is encouraged to complete the game within the following weeks to ensure the intended experience, as urban environments change and routes may be updated accordingly.

4.1. The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods by sending a withdrawal notice to [email protected].
4.2. A withdrawal form will be provided by the Seller upon request.
4.3. The Buyer must return the goods within 7 days after submitting the withdrawal notice.
4.4. The Buyer covers all return shipping costs.

4.5. The right of withdrawal does not apply if:

• the product has been unsealed and/or used;

• the product was customized or personalized for the Buyer;

• the purchased item is a digital product (if applicable).

4.6. Only unopened, unused, and undamaged games in their original packaging may be returned.
4.7. The Seller reserves the right to refuse compensation or deduct value if the returned product is incomplete or damaged.
4.8. A refund will be issued within 14 days after the returned item has been received by the Seller.

5.1. By providing the necessary information during checkout, the Buyer confirms having read and agreed to the processing of personal data for order fulfillment.
5.2. The Seller processes personal data in accordance with applicable laws and the Privacy Policy, available on the website.
5.3. The Buyer’s contact information may be used to send updates about the order and, if consent is given, marketing messages.

The Buyer agrees to:

• provide accurate and truthful information when placing an order;

• store printed game materials safely;

• refrain from any unlawful use of game materials (copying, resale, distribution, etc. without authorization);

• follow safety and traffic rules when playing in public spaces — participation is at one’s own risk and responsibility.

The Seller undertakes to:

• ensure product availability and quality as described;

• inform the Buyer of any delivery delays or changes;

• uphold consumer rights and ensure personal data protection.

8.1. The Seller is not liable for:

• any damages or losses resulting from improper use of the game;

• delivery delays caused by third parties (postal or courier services);

• errors caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Buyer.

9.1. Any disputes or uncertainties shall be resolved through mutual negotiation.
9.2. If no agreement can be reached, the Buyer may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC) or bring the case before a court in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

10.1. The website www.latvijasekspedicija.lv is intended for purchasing Latvijas Ekspedīcija games and related products.
10.2. All materials available in the online store (text, photos, design, and game content) are the property of SIA “Latvijas Ekspedīcija”, and their use without permission is strictly prohibited.
10.3. The Buyer agrees to use the games for personal use only, not for commercial distribution.
10.4. The Seller reserves the right to unilaterally amend these terms by publishing the updated version in the online store.
10.5. By placing an order after such changes, the Buyer is deemed to have accepted the updated version.
